In Ancel’s defense here, he’s not being investigated for any sexual misconduct or racism. He’s being accused of being an asshole boss. That doesn’t make him an irredeemable scumbag, as far as we know.

I agree with it being overrated for this reason: Usually when I play a game of BGE’s reputation, I remember it vividly. With BGE, I just remember liking it. I know there was a reporter and a pig man, and space was involved, and I believe I liked it because it had a different aesthetic and felt cinematic.

Preach

I don’t think we were supposed to take away that Otho was a rapist because of the visions from the (probably evil) god. I think he was getting visions from the (probably evil) god because he’s a rapist.

Damn I love to nitpick this show.

This tracks.

This is officially my favorite show on TV now. Sol bless this pretentious version of Warhammer 40,0000.

Good inisght! I thought the alternate reality at first too, but now I’m thinking it was our earth, and Sol worship returned with a vengeance because an actual godlike entity appeared, adopted the identity, and offered the mithraic tangible, powerful benefits like the Necromancers.

I don’t understand his accent. He still sounds like a viking, but he’s an Australian playing a guy from future Boston

This could have stopped at Lulu Wang speaks out against tapping Ron Howard as director

Yea I have mixed feelings on it. I think EA is a good thing overall, but its increasingly less good for me. And not even because of bugs. There are a few great early access games that I loved, but because I sank 30 hours in, I had no interest in revisiting them in their completed state.

What’s the reason to stay subscribed to Netflix at this point? They seem to be making a point to signal to investors that they’re no longer feeding niches, and they’re only putting money into shows for the dumb masses.

I'm not sure he's smart enough to know the law

A name to know... Natsuko Ishikawa, who stepped into the lead writing role in Shadowbringers, and wrote some of the best parts of Stormblood.

Maybe yeah, though I always saw 12 as more of an ensemble piece like FF6. Vaan was ostensibly the main character because he’s featured first. But by the time the game gets going, the screen time is split pretty evenly.

I’m not against adding content after launch. Expansions are fine. Free content even better.

Bahahahahahahahahahaahahahaha

Solution: Piracy!

Cable TV has been minimized because streaming services let you choose what to watch, when to watch it, how much of it to watch, and also didn’t have ads. The lack of ads were a benefit, but they weren’t the primary reason.

Diablo 2 used the games as a service model. Stardew Valley uses the games as a service model. I’m currently playing Pathfinder: Kingmaker, which has received countless content updates both free and paid since its release, and continues to improve, which helps sustain its sales.
