Are you really policing somebody else’s feeling about comments about them?

So your point is what?  That a coach can say whatever under the guise of trying to get a call?

This isnt’ about ‘people’ being upset.  This is about the player taking the coach’s hyperbole as an insult.  Hers is the opinion that matters.  And I don’t think she’s wrong for calling him out.  Frankly if he thought his player was undersized for the match up... that’s his problem to deal with.  Why is he complaining

‘a bit of hyperbole’? Get out of here with this noise. Frankly someone coaching in a women’s league should be aware of the hypercriticism these women are already getting on the daily.  Idiots talking shit about their size, their hair, their looks.  Nobody needs his BS.

Because he wasn’t interested in advising her in a way that might make her and other drivers safe.  He wasn’t willing to give her the benefit of the doubt - ie just a simple oversight.  He wanted any reason to hassle and arrest a Black person.

Of course anybody who claimed they didn’t have any opinion about the incident was likely lying.  But I get what you’re saying.

That’s what I was thinking. The t-shirt he wore to his cousin’s BBQ is hardly the same as attending/participating in a protest or march against police brutality. It’s also ridiculous to suggest that anyone who is anti-police brutality is incapable of being impartial in Chauvin’s case. After all, we’re all anti-murder

Yeah, that is so annoying. They are the first ones to claim business owners can do ‘whatever they want’ when it comes to discriminating against POC, non Christians, or the LGBTQ community.

Right, police are gunning down Black and Brown Americans every other day and this privileged cow is crying about the ‘tyranny’ of following common sense public health safety requirements?  Whatever Karen.  Maybe use that 14 hour trip for some self-reflection.

Glad the mayor kept after this effort to give folks a second chance. Crazy to think that a single misdemeanor might cost someone a job opportunity or an apartment, might deny you a driver’s license for YEARS. Obviously this is just another effort to keep Black/Brown people from having access to opportunities.

And I’m sure the Raiders organization, the actual business, is thinking ‘for fucks sake do this shit on your OWN account not the corporate one’. What a dumb ass. I mean, obviously, the team would still get blowback but this way they don’t even have a fig leaf to hide behind. Way to go boss!  Perhaps he should use the

We know how Cruz won re-election.  Voter suppression.  It ain’t no mystery.  Meanwhile Texas and several other red states are panicked by Biden’s 2020 success.  So they are cooking up new ways to block access to voting.

Yeah, hypocrisy is the Right wingers’ native language.  These are the same folks who SCREAMED every time Obama left the White House to play golf.  Didn’t matter that it was Saturday or a holiday.  Didn’t matter that there were no particular crisis to deal with.  How dare he travel 30 minutes from the White House to

Hahaha... this reminded me of a manager I had 30 years ago. She loved the Dilbert comics and thought she was the down troddened employee, ie Dilbert. Meanwhile her staff were literally sitting in a cubicle farm exactly like the one depicted in the cartoon.  Of course we all knew she was absolutely Dilbert’s crazy ass

Right? These are the same folks who think a Black man ‘deserves’ to be locked up for decades for stealing food to feed his family.

That’s true.  Some members of congress will actually say as much.

Well, I’m not sure that’s an apt analogy. A big part of the problem with PPP was that those who had a relationship with their banker were in a position to take advantage of the program (even fraudulently so). It’s not necessarily the case that this forgiveness program would be similarly structured particularly for

Yes, that is a major part of it. Eliminating or significantly reducing the debt for tens of millions of people would clearly free up their income/purchasing power. In a nation where consumer spending is 70% of the economy, that’s a huge potential impact.  People who are currently unable to buy homes, cars, etc would

Hope she’s also planning to sue him in a civil suit.

Yeah, these folks crying because the cops maced them while they were trying to over throw the govt don’t seem revolution-ready! Like, WTF did you THINK was gonna happen? Better stop believing Trump’s bullshit. He just threw Guiliani under the bus, he definitely don’t care about a bunch of nobodies foolish enough to
