While this can happen, the fact is many of these newer gas stations with wicked-sick convenience stores like WaWa rarely have pumps that are down, and the overwhelming reason a car is left at one is because someone is inside waiting for a chicken finger sub and paying for a cinnamon roll.

I’m late to the game here, but this struck home. Just yesterday I was thinking about how one of the biggest places people prove to be asshats is at the gas pump. The only possible reason to leave your car is if you pre-pay cash. And not that many do.

I think Jessi guest starred on an episode of Monster Garage and that was the first time I saw her on TV - think she was still in Wyotech at the time. From there she either hosted or starred on so many shows. A real inspiration in fab work and also being in the industry.

5th Gear: The Peel Regional Police were uniquely qualified to detect the vinyl wraps.

This thing’s gross lol.

NP because it’s not my money for real, and let’s be honest, you don’t see clean LeBaron’s.  Let’s do it.  Why not???

I’m more impressed by the million pound capacity tow strap. :(

That’s nice of VAG, they know you’ll be opening the hood often so they made it a unique process to keep that part fun.

I really like the new Ram’s interior. I’m torn though, I have me, wife, and 2 (big) dogs. I also need to tow cars periodically. I also do truck and tractor work around the property but have an old beater pickup for such things.

How ever did VW manage to get a small crossover on this list :D

That’d do it - but they forgot many northern US states too :)

It’s probably “worth it” but I don’t think it’ll go for that much.

A toe link does exactly as it’s name applies - it affects the “toe” setting of the rear suspension. On many rear independent suspensions, there is some adjustment in toe possible due to how the suspensions are setup.

Yes yes yes yes but I’m biased. My first car was a 1980. I kinda would prefer a Series I or Series II, but the Series III still great looking. Aaaand 1980 still had the Series II dash design. It changed slightly after 1980. Fun fact. Or just a fact.

Is the infotainment on the 86 really integrated?  Ie. is the headunit swappable to one iwth AA/Carplay?  The fact it doesn’t have AA/Carplay is a bummer, but knowing it was upgradeable with an aftermarket unit would be workable.

I’ve been there three times, and definitely started to notice these things more on the second visit.  Being that I was a visitor and yes a tourist, we did our best to be respectful for the folks doing their daily grind there, just as we do back home.  But yeah, I def saw what you outline.

I clicked just to see the pictures. I love the the Big Island (Hawai’i)... I know I’m just a visitor but I really do enjoy the land and people there. I know it’s cliche to say, but I’d really love to live there for a while some time. I’d love to find a spot in Waimea, but would have to uproot life quite a bit.

That’s why you have to read the bylaws and determine you are ok with them. Different people will be ok with different things, maybe even see a value. Many of them are so overbearing or ambiguous, it leaves too much open to the busy-bodies that lead it having a slow day or deciding they don’t like something.

Put the truck in storage, and sell your house and move.

You all didn’t notice Jay Leno sitting in it?
