An excuse is blaming someone else like saying my dog ate my homework. He admits he did wrong and explained what happened. You don’t have to accept it, but it’s not an excuse.

There’s a difference with reasons and excuses. He explained why he did it (the reason) but he’s not asking to be excused for it.

The cost is not the point. The point is that it is not included with the price of the room.

I’ve worked on military simulators that cost a least dozen times more than this that beast wars could rival. I don’t judge by budgets anymore.
