Didn’t say they all were, however, you wont take most S85 into high miles for long without major work or a rebuild. It’s the simple truth.

I did have problems, and was also afraid of the engine going (back then an S85 block was $~9-10k) and I had no coin to pony that up (especially for an 08). I actually sold it right after the rod bearing job (stupid in hindsight as that was a waste of money).

Right, so many fly-by-night warranty providers who will offer xyz coverage and then yank that same coverage right from under your feet because you forgot to get your monthly car wash.
