Last one, for now!

It’s not “yes and no”, it’s just clearly “no”.

The only one making that distinction, is you.

Sorry, I didn’t mean for that to come off as “political.” I re-read it, and that’s exactly how it sounds. My apologies, it wasn’t my intent.

Yes, they’ve all passed. I’m sorry, but I can’t give you names, or specific branch/unit information. There’s OPSEC issues to consider. But they passed while serving this country. Heroes, all.

If you’re going to make an assertion with cocky absolutism— try and have a shred of a clue on what your spewing.

Yup, works just fine! Great pics! I love the B-2 refueling mid-air. That aircraft never ceases to amaze me.

Nah, it wasn’t a picture dump. And they were dead-on relevant, and great pictures, too.

And while digging up those pictures, I found these. Still looking for the others (I think they’re on another computer). As soon as a find the rest, I'll post them here.

A picture dump!? Jerry, you’re a bad influence. Ok, ok— I’m game:

How about knocking out cell towers and every other fixed radio frequency source in ISIS-controlled territory?

Man, if I didn’t have a wife and 2 kids......

BA issues I had were when my unit was pulled from the ‘Stan, and was being redeployed for OIF. The stuff we were using in the ‘Stan wasn’t all that great, and going against a nation-state military (even a shitty one like Iraq’s), we wanted some better plates. Guys being sent over from stateside had new(er) plates, but

It’s not that the earlier Gens were bad, or even unreliable. They were solidly made, and worked like a champ. The whole mag-well design with the 416 (and even other platforms built to NATO specs) was a pain in the ass, but wasn’t really a big deal. With some simple modifications, it worked fine.

No REMF dared to attempt confiscating my unit’s PMAGS. That wouldn’t have ended well for them, and they knew it. That doesn’t mean we didn’t get the snark every now and then, but oh well.

PMAGS are fantastic. The only issue I had with them— years ago when the H&K 416s started coming out, the traditional PMAGS acquired for the standard M4 platform, wouldn’t lock into H&K’s new mag-well design. But, I spent some time with a file, and sand paper, and eventually modified all my PMAGS to work in the 416.

...were simple black “Mechanix” gloves. It’s what I always wore. Nice and cheap, durable even after repeatedly getting them wet and beating them up, good protection while still retaining good feeling and dexterity.”

Agreed. Great guy, great operator, and a well deserved award.

You know what they’d call that vehicle in the halls of SWAT schools the world over?

With motor vehicles, looks usually aren’t deceiving...
