@beanecojoe: But....it's NATURAL! And all things NATURAL are GOOD!

Nice!

@Tiller: Make sure you discharge static electricity by touching a piece of exposed metal, and avoid doing the work while on carpet or the like (assuming you don't have a static wrist band, that is). Don't use a feather duster or rag to clean it, use canned air, and make sure to keep it as upright as possible so you

@improprietary: If you look really closely you can see type along the edge that says: "In Case Of Emergency, Pull Strip and Push Out Window"

I refuse on every principle I have to ever, I repeat ever, get a @facebook.com email address.

That's freaking awesome...

The big question is, when is this coming to the east coast of the US?

Waste of money it is indeed. But, it also provides an interesting training exercise for the crew, and good PR. Who knows, there may be a situation where they have to insert cargo (or SEALs) into a cruise ship, and here's some interesting experiencing doing just that.

@Orionsaint: Use the edit button and put it all in one post. No need to flood the comments.

There's a Bang and Olufsen just down the street from my apartment in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I see dozens of people walk in every day who have significantly more money than knowledge of sound systems and want to have the same brand. This will undoubtedly sell like hot cakes to people who want to have this name

@chefgon: Surely it's something like that. If you're willing to throw that much money due to paranoia instigated by one computer repair guy, then you've already got something loose upstairs.

@Tristan Lenzo: It's not so much to keep the plane from blowing up, but rather to prevent an aircraft from being used as a guided missile a la 9/11. Admittedly the odds of this happening again are pretty low, as I think most passengers would probably assume that was what was intended at the beginning and do all that

@Joe Stoner: I tend to agree with everything but your second to last paragraph. Yes, terrorists are sometimes compelled by the deadly cocktail of a fanatical leader with a scapegoat for the misery of daily life. However many are not. Many are upper middle class, relatively well to do individuals who have been

It really is sad to see some of these extremely rare aircraft being eaten up by the forest. Mr. Soplata is allowing a lot of interesting history to be destroyed.

@jetRink: I could see it being something of a gray area, since the information is being knowingly broadcast without any sort of encryption. Depends on how good your lawyer is...

@McMike: I do love how they used a nearly 50 year old airplane as the example for this. Of course, the F-4 is indeed awesome, so...

I often lament the fact that adolescents these days don't get the sheer excitement of coming home from school, getting the mail, and finding the new Victoria's Secret catalog inside. Never mind the fact that the kid that had somehow managed to get his hands on an old Playboy was the most popular kid in the elementary

@Msj2705: You probably should see a doctor about that....

@coldpizza: Coffee beans sort of pop. Not as big as popcorn, but they do expand and make a popping noise.

@JakeMG:Voting Advocate: Amen. Unfortunately www.votesmart.org is down for the count right now due to overusage. At least people appear to be utilizing it!
