She moves strangely, because she's looking for something. What is it?

Few weeks ago there was a short discussion about Kotaku in comments section (don't remember which news though). John said that he likes Kotaku and their articles except Ashcraft's creepiness.

Now I understand why John Walker (RPS) thinks that Ashcraft is creepy.

It depends what you'd like to make. There are so many different mods. Most awesome are IMO total conversions, which transform one game into other setting or even genre e.g. Third Age Middle Earth mod for Medieval Total War 2. But there are also simpler mods like texture update for one model. Anyway modding tools are

Congratulations! And celebrations!

1. GOG now offers quite a few modern games (released after 2006). There are many games which are not available on Steam at all. I wasn't talking about my problem, because I'm working on files everyday - however other people can have problem, because they are too lazy/scarred/ignorant/(other reason) to look for

1. Yes, there are games, that could be run without client, but it's a small margin of Steam's catalogue. Obviously I can do many things in Steam's parent directory (like "patch" exe files), but then Steam loses its great achievement: accessibility, one-click-is-enough feature. Normal user would likely mess up

1. Steam is DRM, because it has to be turned on in 99% cases. Accept the fact.

Don't know the guy, but EG manager is pretty hot.

For a shame. DRM will never die, if people will support it. Yes, Steam has many pros, but it's also a DRM. You have to be online, if you want to install your game, sometimes offline mode is not working properly and game requires online mode at launch. I don't have such problems on GOG. Instalation process is easy too,

No Jeanette from Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines? Really? :/

Marcin Iwinski - founder of CD Projekt - said the same much earlier than Cliffy Kewl. Here:

Arrows much?

Thief 1 is more gothic with strong horror element; Thief 2 has more modern art design, but still is far from classic steampunk. It's really weird hybrid of themes, but it works.

Yeah, and buy it on GOG.com. Both games have mods already installed.

Thief never was a steampunk. It was mostly medieval-ish design with some machines/devices and with bit of fantasy (magic, few creatures).

Monty Python's The Meaning of Life forever! Live Organ Transplant was so absurd. This sketch had also an awesome song:

They completely ignored evolution of joystick, which still exist - how could you play flight sims without joystick? Meh.

OK glass, now I want HUD.

I think that Disney has similar approach to EA's. They hold all of them, because "someday we can use it". Yeah, right.
