I bet that dude has Ferrari underwear too..
I know Beltway 8 very well; it's not an empty highway, it is the "outer" beltway (still closer in than the suburbs) in Houston and it is still very well traveled at all hours. I miswrote my reflex point but you understood what I meant and seems as if we agree on the stupidity of the drivers so let's just leave this…
Since this is Jalopnik, there is PIRC http://www.pittrace.com, nearby country roads to cruise on motorcycles or your sports car, 20 minutes from downtown to the 'burbs and traffic is a breeze, great rivers to boat and nearby lakes. Ride your bicycle on the Rails to Trails to DC, ski or mountain bike 90 minutes away…
It really isn't, it takes 7ish minutes at full biking speed to reach one side to the other.
Don't call it a comeback.
It is the biggest city in Canada (footprint wise) so the downtown could be a lot bigger if the city didn't grow out instead of up. The Bow Tower is really an awesome building.
Seriously...that was horrible. I kept skipping ahead to see if they had different camera angles. Nope!
Road, Safety, and Registration rules are put in place to keep everyone on and off the road safe from 2 ton metal boxes capable of 200km/h, and the folks who drive them.
While I respect Rob and the work he put into getting the car on the road after an accident, and just getting the car in the first place, not having proper registration falls only on his shoulders solely.
That's living the dream there, or apparently on Jalopnik, "being an idiot."
It's a Datsun, so I'm going to guess the cost of a 10mm socket and ratchet.
I was once in a place with some cars and an enthusiast cop blocked traffic and encouraged us to go as fast as we wanted. We did, and we hit 140+, and it was insane. And I have it all on video :)
"Hey man, not everyone can afford to go to a track day!"
But they are occasionally Foxworthy
Right hand drivers are not to be trusted.

He figured he might as well give the ball up before Dane Cook stole that from him too.
