Imagine how big of a squid you’d have to be to think 1) kicking a moving car at highway speed is a smart move.

Heh, well put.

Apparently, yes.

Just watched F&F8 last night. The autonomous cars ... terrible, terrible scene in a terrible movie.

Thanks, I had this conversation at work!

Realistically, all of that may come to $500/month. Why would he need to secure $500/month if he’s making anywhere from $200k to $400k a year?

How about this? You don’t buy the car, invest the $20k @ 6% and don’t pay the 1.9% for an, ultimately, unnecessary toy?

Heh, I’m guessing you don’t have a financial advisor, and if you do, it’s at your local bank branch.

All of this is true and I’m sure he will be fine for the rest of his life.

100% correct, and for people who would rather make that compromise, I suppose they could do that. However, all financial advisors I have had conversations with would disagree against that approach. Every advisor I’ve talked with through my father when I was in college or my own connections now, has said “pay with

Unless it’s a 0% loan, you’re still paying interest. Whether that 0.9-2.9% interest (anything higher than that is foolish, especially for a second fun car) means anything to you or not is up to you, but you’re still paying.

I never said he didn’t have any right to do what he does with his money. I gave an opinion. Otherwise, sure, I could be wrong.

A lot of people think it’s that. I could be wrong, but I’m still going with my instinct. He could easily be (and that’s how I am interpreting it) putting $150k down on a $300k exotic.

I know you do, too. I’ve been active on the internet for 20 years now. Come across thousands of people like you who just love to take their anger and stress out on someone who disagrees with your perfect outlook on life.

Physicians in the U.S. make anywhere from $200k to $400k/year (on average) depending on geographical area and medical practice/specialty.

I think you should take your own advice man. You’re acting like a child. Honestly, I saw a 10 year old today helping his dad with his food truck business and he was calmer than you.

As I’ve admitted to two others, yes, that could be an accurate interpretation. However, that is not my interpretation (still) and until the Dr. himself weighs in, I’m of course going with my instinct.

Hope you have a better day at school.
