I had an ‘07 and my experience was not terrible, but definitely not smooth. Around 50K I had the turbos, ignition system, HPFP all worked on.

Not quite as rare, but same deal with the 335is vs M3. They only made 6000 335is worldwide for 2011-2013, ~3000 coupes/3000 cabrios. However, due to those #s my car has lost value since purchasing, but it’s depreciation has been the least of any car I’ve owned yet.
