You can’t crash it, if you can’t drive it
You can’t crash it, if you can’t drive it
Came here for people shitting on FCA and Alfa - not disappointed in the least
Ah-hem... you think it’s reliable enough to get off the road in time?
Conveniently ignoring the hundreds (ok, fine) dozens of cars on the market that manage to accomplish the amazing double-feat of not being beige-mobile hybrids and managing to run for more than 20 minutes without breaking down.
I think I found a picture of you taken a few minutes ago...
And FCA Italy (formerly Fiat) is incompetent.
You forgot one exclusively Alfa test - the falling off of the vehicle lift test. As this will be their primary parking place, they need to be properly engineered to survive falling off of one.
Came here for Alfa Romeo reliability jokes, was not disappointed!
or being hit when exiting the vehicle on the side of the road.
Surprised they made it to the end of the test track, what’s that? They’re towed down to the test crash? I’m still surprised.
It was able to pass the tests because none of the tests relied on the Guilia’s drivetrain for motion.
Of course the Alfa gets five stars. Can’t get into accidents when it’s in the shop.
These tests do not accurately reflect the real-world usage of an Alfa-Romeo. A rear-impact from the breakdown lane is by-far the most likely crash for a Giulia owner.
This car is a flop, it’s terribly made and filled with old tech. Fiat never got out of Italian poor quality so there you have it.
“I don’t like the result so I’m going to not believe it.” The Guilia has more weight and nearly identical horsepower to a GTS and put down a time within 3 seconds of the GTS’s time. Moreover, the Germans tend to underrate their performance figures if anything (as opposed to the Italians)...
Have you driven one? They are pretty fantastic. The s55 doesn’t have the sensual sound of the s65, but holy hell does it make up for it in torque
No, but SO MANY INTERNET OUTRAGES about the “wrong” engines and “wrong” transmissions in new cars that they do intend to buy 3rd hand when they’re 8 years old.
