“This is a sentiment as old as console transitions themselves—us older gamers didn’t really get much use out of the adapter that let us play Atari 2600 games on our Atari 5200s.”

RiverRaid always struck me as a genius piece of work for the time. Graphics were good and gave a lot of info for a fast moving game, with help from the procderually generated “terrain”.
I’d be less surprised by a guy in his 70s knowing how to drive stick than a guy in his 20s.
Start working at home with Funeral Directing! It’s by-far the best job I’ve had. Last Wednesday I got a brand new BMW and haven’t had to touch a dead body yet! I began this 8-months ago and immediately was bringing home at least $17 per hour. I work through this link, go to removal tab to find a body near you!
First vacation we ever took together, on our 10th anniversary, my wife slept almost the whole time for the first two days. We had both been stressing and running (figuratively) for so long, she just crashed. I’d point out “look, the show after dinner you wanted to see comes starts in 20 minutes”; she’d say “we can get…
Let’s see:
That is incorrect, sir!
Honestly, I somehow missed that you mentioned scaling it down; I’m sorry. If I still could, I’d delete my comment entirely.
“It’s a car with a wet trunk. And nobody is going to buy that.”
I posted a while ago with my idea for the RamSedan, and I think this could actually fill that role. My idea was to...
There’s precedent for this...
Bucket: for parts the “modder” doesn’t think it still needs to run, but doesn’t feel safe throwing away just yet.
So, a pull-off, where the Hummer and a BRAT have a tug-of-war? No one could possibly predict the outcome of that...
“Multiple reports and images show the Turkish Army surrounding a small damaged unmanned aircraft that appears to be Russian in origin.”
I realize this is necropost territory, but lateral file cabinets (if you have access to them cheaply) work nicely to keep as much floorspace free as possible, since they only stick out from the wall about a foot and a half. That makes it easier to pull 2 cars, or at least a car and a riding mower, into the garage.
I’ve got a bunch of HP 1010 mono laser printers from a job a few years ago. They’re “SOHO” models, but have been really reliable. Where I work now, we’ve transitioned to all Brother devices. They had 2270 mono lasers, and now have a copier and fax that use the same toner cartridge, and seem very reliable. The printers…

My wife bought a grey SUV because the dealer didn’t have any other full-size trucks with 4wd, under 20k miles and decent towing capacity for <$15k.
Didn’t watch the whole video, but does it say he was officially on the clock? I could see an officer getting a bit full of themselves, and deciding they must ticket EVERYONE they see speeding excessively; or at least those that annoy them while driving off-the-clock.
I’m a little surprised he wasn’t including directions to make checks out to “CASH”. So he really thought no one would ever challenge this, or did he think the judge would say “Good job, above and beyond the call (and scope) of duty!”?
There is a privacy risk, but I’m not too worried that they’d rack up your bill or change your services. I don’t see much financial incentive there for Airpaper.
