I realize this is necropost territory, but lateral file cabinets (if you have access to them cheaply) work nicely to keep as much floorspace free as possible, since they only stick out from the wall about a foot and a half. That makes it easier to pull 2 cars, or at least a car and a riding mower, into the garage.

I’ve got a bunch of HP 1010 mono laser printers from a job a few years ago. They’re “SOHO” models, but have been really reliable. Where I work now, we’ve transitioned to all Brother devices. They had 2270 mono lasers, and now have a copier and fax that use the same toner cartridge, and seem very reliable. The printers

My wife bought a grey SUV because the dealer didn’t have any other full-size trucks with 4wd, under 20k miles and decent towing capacity for <$15k.

Didn’t watch the whole video, but does it say he was officially on the clock? I could see an officer getting a bit full of themselves, and deciding they must ticket EVERYONE they see speeding excessively; or at least those that annoy them while driving off-the-clock.

I’m a little surprised he wasn’t including directions to make checks out to “CASH”. So he really thought no one would ever challenge this, or did he think the judge would say “Good job, above and beyond the call (and scope) of duty!”?

There is a privacy risk, but I’m not too worried that they’d rack up your bill or change your services. I don’t see much financial incentive there for Airpaper.

I’d say it’s the Vogon poetry of automobilia.

And this might still be more earth-friendly...

Don’t forget to add the “Stay out of my way, I’m late for Bingo” bumper sticker and “I HEART my Granddogs” magnet.

Sane sellers are worth at least a $500 bump in price.

When I was very young, I drove as a courier on the NJ Turnpike from the Philly area up to NYC and back, in a Ford Econoline van. The needle in that would go past 85. In fact, it would go past 0 again. If I recall correctly, that was the last day I drove that particular van.

Not saying that cost excuses the swerve, but

Oh, no problem with Taft. It represents everything I loved about the disposable cars of my youth - sofa style seating, wallowing through turns, an large force that can’t be ignored, and doesn’t care much about the desires of those who use it. They just handled basic transportation in a beautifully ungainly manner;

Dealers are usually worried about you suing them, not you suing corporate. My completely uneducated guess is that this form is provided by FCA to dealers.

~400 ft.·lb torque, only a measly 350+ hp moving 2+ tons (hangs head in shame).

Former President’s name is not a guarantee of a good car name.

That’s worked out fine for Jeep for quite a while.

I can (proudly?) say my DD gets roughly twice that.

I daily drove an ‘81 without the little “S” emblem, or a functioning vacuum line dominated emissions control system (no catalytic converter from the factory), and I would have to be dragged away from this before I threw the money at the seller.

Came here looking for this. He has been desperate to partner with anyone. Can’t say I thought of Chrysler/Dodge/Ram/Jeep as competitors with VW/Porsche/Audi, so no harm there, right?
