The cosplay was great, but the actual con itself was a mess (for vendors especially). If I didn’t volunteer and get in free, I’d be annoyed at paying the entry fee. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them take a hit next year.
Our latest dog is deaf (we got him when he was five months old, he turns a year tomorrow) and sometimes it startles him badly if we touch him while he’s sleeping, since he snoozes so heavily. We’ll blow on him gently to get him awake without him acting like we ambushed him.
As a 20 year old millennial, have a reallllllly simple solution: don’t have tickets cost me ten or fifteen bucks. That means I have to work over an hour so I can watch Batman and Superman try to murder each other’s faces.
