@vinylrake: While I agree, there should not be a requirement to log in, but I fail to see how using an IP (variable for many users between sessions) would be helpful. Sure, the IP can give an approximate location for some services, but that's taken care of in their latitude framework, which is an opt-in program,

@tonyennis: I agree, it is darkly optimistic if that makes any sense. But the truth is, there's a demand right now for that type of infrastructure, someone will meet that demand. I only hope it's a private entity, and not a government. There are those here who believe that a corporation is evil because it's motivated

I believe this will become a moot discussion in the near future.

@Berkeley: Yeah, patents take forever to go through. Someone will leak the recipe before his application ever gets reviewed. Financially, he'd be better off selling it to a chain restaurant under a trademarked name.

@eskimo monkey: Never tried that, but speaking of "Scotch", use it to pickle your eggs (actually works better with Bourbon). Boil them, peel the shell, but in a mason jar with whole pearl onions, hot peppers, 3Tbsp sugar, 2Tbsp salt and top off with the whiskey of your choice. Let sit for about 3 weeks. They're like

@jmurph05: Beer has more uses than just getting you shit-faced. You know nothing of beer.

How did "Scientists" get a grant to delv into the study of garlic odor? We have people studying possible cures for cancer, low-cost space travel, brain-computer interfaces, possible methods of cold fusion, gene therapy, stopping or even reversing the effects of aging... I'm gratified to see there was still enough

Everyone boasts about the newest features, but for me, the changes in the library were a huge improvement. Scrapers are much improved (though the music system still needs some tweaking). Video playback on windows got much better.

@Renzatic001: Good advice, that bumped my framer rate about 40%.

@G_A: My video Card is nothing great, it is a gForce 8600SE 512MB. I suspect better results from newer cards (this one's about 4 years old).

@Shmooki: Yeah, point taken. If someone prefers organic eggs, then thats what they should get.

@orlo: Eggs in the U.S. come from literally tens of thousands of producers. The expense of forcing them all to buy pasteurization equipment would drive up the price substantially. Ask anyone with an egg allergy how many foods contain eggs. It would mean driving up the price on them too. A price increase always

Pores in an eggshell

@Shmooki: The difference in organic and non-organic eggs is almost all marketing.

@xxdesmus: I found the exact opposite to be true. Chrome seems to have superior HTML5 support and benchmarks much faster with java than IE. The only area I've seen IE pull ahead is with silverlight apps. Oddly, MS even admits that chrome 6.0 is faster with java than IE 9. They play down the discrepancy with a bar

@mkr10001: There's a minor inconsistency in windows. If editing the target path, the target should be in quotes. After the last quote, add a space, then the switch. If running from a command prompt, omit quotes. Use Double Hyphens.

Tested on the fish page:

@ReiRei0: Agreed. The problem is the technology is out there, and it's based on fairly simple and well-known principals.

@superhappyfuntime: I noticed that too, lol. I just copied it from a google search.

Hate to scare people more, but this can be done to a lesser extent with traditional digital cameras and Photoshop.
