@pablofdzm: I brew my own, and twist-offs are worthless for homebrew. You get a better seal with the standard caps or flip-tops.

@le_sacre: If you want to secure an off-site backup, there are several methods you can use.

@muzicman82: Many of them have "Service ports", for use in reformatting via a mirrored drive. Few actually allow the port to be used as expandable storage. Check with the manufacturer before trying to connect a drive. The "Hacks" that exist for most models only allow backing up video. You can then plug the drive

Using even a fast firewire drive as a scratch disk is pointless, unless you have one collecting dust somewhere. Don't buy one for that purpose. For a fraction of the price (approx. $50), a 32GB SSD connected to your PCI-E 1x slot would be significantly faster.

@Tobias_Aplin: These are "Accidental" inventions. Fortunately, the odds of a cock accidentally falling into a persons mouth are next to none. If it does happen, it wasn't an accident. Don't make excuses for people who want to rape your face.

@mike204: "I'd suggest leaving the audio as is, maybe using the built-in audio playback volume control in iTunes to adjust each album to what you desire - but destructively changing audio without the proper tools/room is asking for trouble."

Be careful with some utilities, and test a few tracks before doing your entire library. There are two schools of thought on track normalizing:

I tag most of my file manually, that works 100% of the time and takes little effort.

@CSX321: I'd be interested to see how that works. If a person didn't pick a number, are they assigned one by default, or is it a rolling number shared by many? Could be useful to circumvent caller-ID. Could one just create a new account and have a disposable phone number?

@EthanW: Good catch, bad spell check.

@coodgenducta: Not so, (at least not always). In cities in particular, you can usually map it to the street, and many apartments can be traced to the building. This can be done by anyone using freely available tools. Rural areas are more difficult to get an exact fix on, they may indeed only give you an approximation

@TrampaOnline: I suspected, didn't mean offense, just getting ahead of all the "Yup, totally" comments from people who would read it literally.

Revolution sounds good only to those who haven't thought it out. Do you really want a War? Sure, there are plenty of people in D.C. who deserve a bullet, but at what cost? There would be no geographic boundaries, or uniformed soldiers like our first civil war. The enemy would be your neighbors, co-workers, even

@TrampaOnline: Lol, you make your judgement on a person's decency based on where they park their car? If it's on their property, what f**ing business is it of yours? I think decent people don't tell others how they should behave in their own homes.

@genkainashi: If only there were crying baby jammers.

Uhm... Park your car in the garage, then they need a warrant.

In my youth, I worked part time in a retail store. We used codes all the time to talk discretely about customers for a variety of reasons.

@CSX321: I do use a google number, so that may be why I have the option in settings and others seem not to.
