While Pelosi does employ effective management tactics, she does so in an effort to stanch the representatives who represent policies and philosophies that are embraced by a significant portion of the Democratic party. I personally see it less as “management” and more an aggressive hold onto the status quo.

I think that’s the thing that most frustrates me about this whole situation: people are just using it to display their galaxy-brain levels of wokeness despite having no real stake in the issues Omar was referencing or even caring about the larger injustice against the Palestinian people.

For real! If Omar’s comments are anti-Semitic (which they are not), then the attacks on her are definitely Islamophobic (which, in reality, is probably what they’re rooted in).
