Can’t argue that. What we can comment on is the fact that people tend to take things to extremes.

The problem I see is stupid people in the aftermarket. Doing HP upgrades on the cheap and dirty usually doesn’t do more than blow up motors.

It wasn’t a great situation, and I certainly didn’t make a good decision.
I took an online “On Death And Dying” course in 2012 during my summer internship in Colorado. Not only was I in freaking CO for a summer, I was living with some long time friends. So yeah, I didn’t get shit done in that course.
If you’re looking for wildlife, head out for viewing at sunrise and sunset. That’s when the critters are most active.
Multitasking in most situations can be defined as “Doing multiple things poorly at the same time.”
I feel like there might be a half verbal, very subtle pun there. Getting crushed between boat and ship would be a pretty abrupt end.
It possibly could have come out of the back, but I think anything actually coming out of the engine and impacting the fuselage is going to make a drastically different damage pattern.
Thanks for that info. I didn’t look at the overall layout of the airframe, just going by the images and video available.
Where’s the rest of the cowling? The impact and imbalance knocked a whole bunch of shit off, which could get pushed into the path of movement of the aircraft.
Look at the video... The busted window is almost the last window on the plane, far aft of the end of the engine. If the blade had gone through the casing and impacted the fuselage, you’d expect it to be very close to the plane of the rotor hub.
Take note of the image that includes the side of the aircraft. None of the windows in plane with the fan or compressor have been broken.
The compressor casing appears to have held. I wouldn’t be surprised if the investigation determines that the window was broken by something flying off the engine casing due to the…
Something to look into: Tepache
Given that we have a burger joint near here that does crunchy peanut butter, fried egg, banana, bacon and mayo on a burger, including the normal veg, it really is an oddly good combination.
