And I can see that. But you’re clearly in the minority on that view, so maybe the brand synergy is, well more synergetic, rather than awkward, as you describe.

Arguments like this always baffle me. It’s like, if you *do* get the content you want (i.e., the cheeky election stuff, the feminist commentary), why does it matter that there are articles that fall into your third category? Like, does it really do that much to you, in the long run?
