This is essentially my take too. Well said. Peter Pan and Chemistry are like back to back commercial background music for Red Stripe.

I'm afraid this sounds extremely like "Reflektor B-sides" than anything else they've done

Elfo the elf?! It's the part I was born to play!

Dwayne Johnson is absolutely the type of celebrity that purposely presents himself as "moderate" to keep his brand going. His politics would be pretty easy to estimate: he supports the troops in a very vocal way, rah rah America and all that, but is tolerant of other cultures and sexualities because that's the right

Nah, I like him just fine. He doesn't seem to be as funny on his feet as Che (he seems to have 2-3 go-to lines to audience reactions that he re-uses), but I think he's a technically good writer and has gotten a lot better with delivery.

Oh man, I thought I was the only one. His energy is always set at 11/10.

Yeah, it bothered me too for the same reasons. Hawley engages in homage-ery quite often, but this is the first time it felt like plagiarism to me, especially considering most of the prior homages would have been toward Coen works, and they're executive producers.

I'm just gonna go ahead and pretend last week's ep was the finale. The actual finale was so miscalculated.

Surly has their own little concert grounds now where they do shows. Last year they had Charles Bradley. It rules.

The new Fleet Foxes album is gonna fuckin suck

Also, they should've danced to "Touch Myself" in Evangelion

Congratulations!

These will end as soon as theater goers stop finding animals/fantasy creatures/anthropomorphic kitchen gadgets singing pop songs while making "serious" diva poses and diva faces funny.

Killam got to do Trump like 2-3 times. Hammond by far did the majority of Trump work this season.

"You're in a Broadway show called Oh Hello whether you like it or not!"
"No I'm nahhhhhht."

Don't worry, man - I won't let the Monty Python joke go unappreciated

Tweens have this insanely loyal gene that gets them to obsessively tweet, follow, watch, etc… anything a popular young celebrity does.

One recent-ish one I always think of is Robert DeNiro reading off those middle eastern terrorist names like "al liq a'mahdiq" that were just a bunch of slightly dirty puns
