I mean, there will always be crossovers, but I feel like they generally do a good job of keeping separate comics separate enough to follow, they don’t want to scare away new readers. I read Ms Marvel via trade paperback. I know she’s in some team ups, but I never feel like I’m missing anything even though I don’t read

I can’t wait to ignore the outrage. This is fantastic :)

What do you think of the Alta? My Flex has been fizzling on me for awhile (once it randomly racked up 40,000 steps while it sat on my desk overnight; another time it died 2 days after I charged it, but worked fine after I charged it again) and I like the look of the screen on the Alta, seems like a usable watch /

I just bought a house with one preinstalled, and it’s so cool. The other day when I went back to the apartment after doing some spackling and realized I’d forgotten to turn the thermostat back up so I wasn’t cooling an empty house, I could just do it from my phone. And I look forward to not having to get out of bed if

I paint gaming miniatures, and my preferred technique for priming is to use poster tack or rolled masking tape to stick a bunch down on their bases on a piece of thick cardboard, then take the whole mess outside and hold the cardboard to spray. Wearing a glove on the holding hand, because I inevitably paint my hand

My coworker bought one of these, and I covet it.

I’ll keep it in mind for the future, but for $40, if I get a few good cleans out of it, I’ll chalk it up to experience and get something spendier on the next go around. The reviews are pretty great, though, and it sounds like they’ve improved the quality and the tank size from the older model, so hopefully it’ll hold

I bought it at the $44 like 45 minutes ago, the deal must have sold out already.

And now you can buy a lot more e-books for free! Yay books!

I really needed something better than a mop and bucket for cleaning my floors (I rarely mop because it’s a pain, so my floors get pretty grimy before I get around to it) so I just bought the Shark steam mop. I love my Shark vacuum, so I hope the steam mop is at least as good!

I effing love jicama. It is the best hummus carrier, IMO. Well. The best healthy hummus carrier, anyway. I’m trying this.

I had no idea a film adaptation was in the works, either! I just read the novel a couple of months ago, and I thought it was great. And this trailer looks spot on! I’m on board. I wonder if I can get my boyfriend to go see it without watching the trailer/telling him anything about it ... hmmm

I love Goulet, I have loads of samples from them right now :) I have heard good things about Diamine, but I haven’t tried much from them. Maybe I will have to give Blue Velvet a try on my next batch. Thanks!

I got a bunch of samples from Goulet Pen Co and Baystate’s super pretty, but I have to have a well-behaved ink that I can use on everything. Liberty’s Elysium is almost as saturated, but aside from a little nib creep, mostly stays where I put it. It’ll show through paper, but it doesn’t actually bleed for the most

Baystate Blue is internet infamous. It’s beautiful, but it’s messy and temperamental and bleeds through and stains everything. A lot of their inks are really great, that one is a special case :) Also never mix it, it’s a different ph and reacts weird with other inks.

I’ve had this for a couple of years and I like it. I find the canister a little hard to empty, with lots of places for clumps of hair and dust to get stuck, but it opens both at the top and bottom, so that plus some shaking takes care of things. And it’s versatile, with the regular hose, or the long hose/lift-away

I have decent luck with some Noodler’s inks. Liberty’s Elysium is a very nice blue that doesn’t bleed or feather much on cheap paper.

It’s had some moments that I thought weren’t written particularly well, but it’s been running full tilt since the first episode, and it’s got some great payoffs. I would say yes, watch it. :)

I’m on a constant hunt for a bottled ink that gets along with cheapy paper, because I love my fountain pen, but I also love my stack of graph paper legal pads and making near constant throw-away notes :)

It depends on the ink, too. There are very fast drying inks out there, and if you find a good one of those, you’re less likely to get smears and inky hands. (I’m a righty, and I still get inky hands sometimes when I let my fingers get too far down the grip, but I consider it worth the risk because I love fountain pens
