Or, more realistically, they were doing okay but somehow thought that they were magically going to be become rich under Trump.

In the Trump era, this is the new obligatory response. The new Bugs Bunny saws off Florida, if you will.
“I did it for the economy. We needed a change.”
I feel bad for him. But her? Screw that. She should have listened to him more carefully, or, you know, not drunk the Kool-Aid and done some research. The only good thing to come of this is that maybe, just maybe, people like this will turn on him in 2020.
Fuck you, Helen.

I think the assumption is that Gen. McMaster asserted himself to Trump in light of the latest grim and horrifying developments in North Korea and Syria. McMaster asked Trump to remove baboon (sorry, Bannon) when he took the job as National Security chief, but was rebuffed.
Never trust anyone who has dead, gimlet eyes. She’s a little scary in a Stepford Daughter way.
Not a chance in hell that I will subject myself to watching that. Also, every journalist that takes the easy route with these gremlins is complicit, too. I refuse to normalize this fuckery.
Buy a fucking dictionary.
Well she’s got her old man’s gift for spouting complete bullshit, that’s for sure.
This girl gets so many free passes and kudos simply because she is attractive. She’s an unethical businesswoman advising an unethical president. He’s using her as a shield while he pulls of his anti-woman antics.
“I don’t know what it means to be complicit”
Fuck Gayle King. She was one of the media lackeys who went to kiss the ring in Trump Tower following the election. And then had the fucking gall to tsk tsk Seth Meyers on his show for being critical of Trump, because we should ‘give him a chance.’ And of course fuck Nazi Princess.
I have read, but can’t find right now, peer-reviewed research that shows a positive correlation between (white Americans’) childhood physical “discipline” and their adult violent and abusive behavior. The principle surely applies across all ethnicities.
Great article!
As someone that is actively #breakingthecycle (in more ways than one); I often find myself wanting to “discipline” my youngins physically, rather than stepping back—looking at the issue and actively articulating in a child friendly manner why that behavior is inappropriate.
