Last time I came here the owner only had the two Chargers, the Landau, silver Opala, beige Beetle and the Benz. Now there are two more Opalas, three more Beetles and a Maverick
Playing The Crew 2 beta and I just noticed that Ubisoft removed the border wall between the US and Mexico that was present in the original The Crew. The awesome gravel road is still there, but when I look to the side all I see is wilderness instead of “The Wall”. The map otherwise is pretty much identical to the first…
After a 22 years long hiatus, Puma Automovéis is back with the mid-engine GT. There is a commemorative Lumimari edition, limited to 10 units and each costing R$150,000. The GT has a 2.4 liter 180 hp I4 powering the rear wheels and mated to a 6-speed manual, but the car is pretty light, weighing less than 2000lbs (900…
404 Coupe for your time
Well, three actually since I also saw two Cayennes. Anyway, Erwin Wurm’s exposition (a fat house, the fat porsche, some furniture that looked melted, a bunch of interactive stufd) only made me realize that I don’t understand shit of dadaism. However, the building, Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil (CCBB) is super nice,…
And now the Limited version has dark blue leather, which looks great. But then, specced with 4x4 a ($3,245 extra), sprayed-in bedliner and the tow package brings the price to almost 70k. The F-150 starts at $28,675 for a bare-bones XL with the 3.3 V6 (290hp, 265 lb-ft) and goes all the way to the $74,500 fully specced…
... but Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 will be released tomorrow. Seems like a big upgrade from the previous edition, and both CMS14 and CMS15 owners will get a 10% discount on it.
There is a burguer joint near my house (appropriately named American Burguer) whose sandwiches are named after American cars (with the sole exception of the Mini Copper, which is their smallest). Not in the screenshot is the Cadillac, Viper, Hummer and the Maverick Burguer.
Went car shopping today and since the city’s fanciest dealership is just a block away from Peugeot’s (with a Volvo’s between them), why not check it then?
Mercedes 275GTB Ferrari racing through 1976 Paris. I said Mercedes because the director of this short film, Claude Lelouch, used a 450SEL to record it and added the sounds of his own Ferrari later. Dunno why, it’s not like that 6.9 V8 sounds bad.
Impeccable looks, amazing sounds, one of few high-end cars with a manual, no overkill of performance and it’s a Jaaaggg
I think so. 911 R plus Panamera Sport Turismo Turbo S E-Hybrid (that name is fucking huge)
But I’m love with Mclaren’s Cassis interior and Quartz paint combo. Now, where is that goddam lotto...
Just look at that! Is ridiculously French. Leather everywhere, fantastic attention to detail, and a B.R.M watch that changes according to which interior design is chosen, and all that in a car that’s supposed to fight against the old BMX X3 and the monotonous Audi Q5.
Damn this thing is ugly. More like new Aztek than Eclipse. Not surprised though, since there are 0 good-looking cars in Mitsubishi current line-up. No power figures available, but the engines are a brand new 1.5 turbo mated to a CVT and a 2.2 turbo diesel mated to a 8 speed automatic
So Oppositelock, what’s your favorite car scene in a non car related movie or TV series? My vote goes to the opening of the 2011 French film “The Intouchables”, because a Maserati Quattroporte together with Ludovico Einaudi’s “Fly” is a hard to beat duo
Curious fact: the first car manufactured in Brazil was the Isetta, named Romi-Isetta, which was build from August 1956 to 1961
Went car shopping with my mom to find something to replace her beloved but tired 2007 Peugeot 206 wagon. While on the way to the dealerships, saw the following:
So remember my last post? So now there are talks, although nothing official, and hopefully is just a tasteless rumor, that the Rio de Janeiro’s Military Police (the Civil Police has been on strike since January 16) wants to do a similar strike starting this friday. But if the crisis in Vitória, a quite more developed…
