I don’t think you get the picture, Reggie was the president of Nintendo of America, not Nintendo itself. I believe NoA doesn’t have any development team, they are a subsidiary of Nintendo that handles stuff like distribution, marketing, localization (tree house) and probably stuff like QA and contact with 3rd party…
He gave a spotlight to many games that wouldn’t otherwise see much success, got a lot of people into gaming and game development, interacted directly with a couple of developers, to name a few examples.
It has 2,5 x the resolution of the GBA just on its top screen!
I personally did this to help generate content for launch day (which helps Nintendo lmao), if you’re one of the many that couldn’t get a review copy.
Why would that make anyone upset at Nintendo? Wouldn’t those games still exist if they weren’t using Nintendo’s IP and/or assets?

You don't have to play the game for 10 hours before deciding it "sucks" (for you), but if you didn't play it throughout the whole game (or most of it, at least) you don't have enough information review the game.
