I’m kind of in the same boat with horror movies and it is incredibly frustrating. Have you watched A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night? Raw? Hush? The Eyes of My Mother? Probably yes, but that’s all I’ve got.

Okay, wait, there is this from Melissa Benoist’s Instagram:

I’m really disappointed by this news, especially as the season 3 cliffhanger was so limp, which surprised given how strong the rest of the season was.

Does that mean it’s my favorite show I’ve never seen?

Hold one goddamn minute..........this was on for three seasons?

We Cancelled A Zoo!

Starring Michelle Rodriguez as a totally believably teenage Dora

Well as long as there is a slow motion carwash scene with Dora soapy and wet, holding a hose while her young body is pressed against the windshield I would say sure, why not, fun for the whole family!

Dora The Exploder

It’s relevant! Gerald’s Game has an awesome connection to Dolores Claiborne. And totally agree — great movie. Just, uh, don’t watch while eating dinner.

At this point, I’m almost willing to accept the King character’s explanation that there really is a ka and it is using him to tell a larger story that he is not in control of.

At first I thought this essay was ignoring in the role of the Turtle. I thought the book stated pretty thoroughly that he (or some larger power behind him, the cosmology is unclear) was imbuing the kids with a power that was beyond them. When they apparently win the battle in 1957, the force starts to lose interest in

Barely relevant to the article, but I watched the Netflix Gerald’s Game last week and holy crap was it 10x better than I had any right to expect. Great performances all around, about the best job I’ve seen of getting inside a King character’s head (good thing, since that’s 90% of the book) and some sneaky unreliable

Longtime King readers are familiar with this concept. The “Shine” is another name for the Touch. The Loser’s Club is ka-tet, which can provide some protection to its members until ka decides to end them or the group.

King has always sprinkled things like this in. In Pet Semetary one of the characters drives by a sign pointing to the town of Jerusalem’s Lot. Fun stuff.

Sure to be the number 2 highest grossing Stephen King movie adaption.

What the fuck is Scatman Crothers doing all the way up in Maine

Great crossover potential: The ShIT

Oh yeah, it’s not a technical masterpiece, but these sloppy schlocky masterpieces are still close to my heart.
