Heh I opened that app for the first time in ages recently but it had a somewhat ok batch of movies on it ... with ads... but I assume its because they are all sony movies that it wasnt all godzilla and Seinfeld anymore

Im pretty sure it is all dependent on what device you use to watch netflix. Most things updated to the autoplay but my parent’s older Rokus dont do that, due to limitations of tbe device or they dont have built in software updates

Based on this feature and the randomised order of lists I can only assume some sort of market reasearch or math led them to the conclusion that the more a user scrolls and flips through lists and titles quickly to avoid autoplay or just to find shit the more benefit it has for them... no one knows what that benefit…
