The Origin bits which for all intents and purposes could be handled with a quick montage (as it’s often done in sequels) like hey this dude got exposed to radiation now he can turn into a seagul, is enough and then you can get into an actual adventure not just preamble and the same buildup.

Syndication is an interesting thing I actually hadn’t thought about with the streaming model as that was the benchmark of where a show really hit it big and the cast was in royalty city. Good for Bojack get them cable dollars.

I actually got into Dexter because of the CBS run as I didn’t have Showtime and am lazy about bootlegging. I think it cut out half way through and so I watched what i could online and think I had to buy a couple individual episodes... I also promptly gave up on that shitty show during the 5th season.
