Gun safes are a thing, as are motion detectors. With that much valuable property on the premises, why wouldn’t you invest in shit like that?

That was only part of the haul according to the article. I'd be curious to know what made up the rest because those booster boxes and the cash add up to around $25k. Still a lot but well short of the $250k being thrown about. I can only guess they had some rarer sealed product and some valuable singles that were

I’m hoping BG3 is actually finished in 2022. Though, when it comes to CRPGs, “finished” might be too generous a word. Honestly, it makes way more sense to wait a year after a launch before playing any of them. By then, most of the bugs, balance problems and QoL issues will be fixed and there will be more content. See

The only game that I am actually excited about is Baldur’s Gate 3. Lots cool stuff coming out but BG3 is the only thing that I might just actually spend time on(aside from Elden) and not drop after a few sittings.

Yeah, it really needs the attention. Nobody is talking about the From Software game co-created by George RR Martin.

Please, how could Elden Ring compare with Kirby: Forgotten Whatever or Slime Ranchers 2

I find UI mods to be pretty essential for BGS’ games. Honestly, the UI for Skyrim is god awful. SkyUI makes the game’s inventory management and crafting so, so much better.

How is this worse than games like Carmageddon, Postal 2, or OG Fallout? Did those games ever get pulled from Steam?

Unfortunately the nature of US laws, settling is very often much more favourable than actually going through the legal process, whether right or wrong. So when I see US cases settled I don’t automatically think the worst of the settler.

Wow. Just... just wow.

Nope, you don’t understand what an NFT is.

theoretically true, but again, not something that can’t be done without NFT’s. Back when Microsoft announced the Xbox One, they were toying with the idea of digital license transfers. Something like that could still be done, without the need for NFT’s and all the harm they cause.

Now playing

Sometimes a technical explanation will be beyond your understanding. But sometimes it’s because the explanation is gibberish to begin with.

Don’t feel bad, the people selling NFTs and running blockchains don’t really comprehend it either.

the only possible benefit I can see from something like this can be achieved without NFT’s:

Vince Zampella who got screwed out of CoD MW & MW2, who built Titanfall 1&2 from the ground up with a new company and APEX fame running Battlefield?

It’s endlessly distressing that we finally have PCs and consoles that can realize the ridiculous vision of the original Battlefield 1942, and all the games in the series stink now. Like, I just want to drive around in tanks and planes and shoot stuff, how do you mess that up so bad with a decade and a half of progress

But this would require the general public to know anything about the companies making these games. COD is probably the most mainstream non sports game in the world. It is bought by millions of people who never ever bother to read a gaming website and thus have no clue who Kotick is, what happens at blizzard studio’s

While I’m definitely not stanning for Star Citizen, Elite: Dangerous was a deeply boring experience to me. Great flight model, nothing to actually play.

The game’s essentially been in early access for years which is pretty common. Project Zomboid and 7 Days to Die have been in early access since 2013. SC may have a huge amount of resources behind it but that doesn’t really matter when you have endless feature creep and are willing to spend months/years working on
