They aren't surprised. It's usually just not worth spinning up the extra servers when the population will thin out in 48-72 hours.

Don't like the controls? Play it on PC with whatever controller you want with higher framerate and better graphics.

We must have played two different games.. The writing/dialogue for Outriders is atrocious, gameplay is boring, repeat the same environments over and over chopped up by loadscreen after loadscreen.

Another rogue-lite that I actually enjoy more than ‘Hades’ is ‘Curse of the Dead Gods’. It’s still in EA but will probably be ready for full release at the end of this year or early next.

Well the example you provided would be a pretty rare case and even then most streamers do kinda put in a crazy amount of work to the point they can’t have a life outside of it. Vacations? Nope. You’re not streaming for more than a day or two a week and you’re already taking a big hit in earnings.
