I agree with this, and we do this... but its just in passing I don’t think its a huge deal to call a little girl beautiful.

Yeah I mean its not that deep. I can have a sit down with my 3 year old and discuss deeper things and we get into context like that... but if its in passing who cares. Every little girl deserves to think they are beautiful... and smart... and cool... but beautiful can mean inside and out.

My husband and I work in the Loop and live in the suburbs... our buildings are prepared for lock downs and my friends husband (a CPD in Lawndale) is on 12 hours and has riot gear ready. The news said cops are “prepared to action” and its honestly scary.
