Yeah, really. They should be responsible enough to their customers to pack up their European division in Germany and go somewhere else. They're obviously too incompetent to figure out that a nation's law is crippling their service to customers who are rightfully entitled to more.

I've stated this before, but probably one of the better groups in the community is the Gentleman's Club. Just hop into their chatroom at "The Gentlemen's Club" (make sure to spell it right, and it's 'men' not 'man') and ask to join a game or start a game and inform them you're a novice. Pretty open and cool group,

It's open world. It has bonfires that are checkpoints for the game. They could be anywhere from the beginning of a 'level' to right before a boss. It all depends on which ones you manage to find, of which some are hidden rather well. I've personally found some of them are a little too close for comfort while others

From Software released a document covering Dark Souls II on their website here. Anyone got translation prowess that's able to glean any worthwhile details from this? It sounds like it's explaining the first Dark Souls game from Google Translate but it's pretty incoherent.

That would definitely explain it, then. Thanks!

I'm pretty confident this speed run is old, in that it was prior to one of the first Dark Souls patches that fixed an exploited bug which could cause you to spawn from a loaded game into the last area. Speed runs afterwards are a lot longer.

Actually, it's something I keep track of pretty often since I'm curious about it. There's no site dedicated to that kind of news that I'm personally aware of, so I've gone to several sites, two of them being Reuters and Sciencedaily.com, with the latter being a news aggregate site (though with no specific category on

When someone thinks up something, it emits a signal in the brain that is specific to that. BCI's (Brain-Computer-Interface) are just there to catch them. The only problem is that - like voices - no two brains are the same, but there are enough similarities that with enough training it'll get fairly accurate. Indeed,

I'm sure you've already heard of the Emotiv. People have said with enough training it does surprisingly well. All it needs right now are developers that are willing to code solid applications for it.

Yah, it's pretty impressive. Just to clarify, though, this specific demonstration involved youtube videos, in that a person would watch a youtube video, and the computer would check their brain sensor data and try to match the correct youtube video to the data presented (hence why you may see various changes in faces

Ditto apart from the intermissions. However I've noticed my 'camera' angles and perspectives usually fit more of a video game presentation than a cinematic movie, in that the view attempts to incorporate as much detail of the scene as possible, with using occasional angle changes to still give focus to certain objects

Same here. Lucid dreaming is a pretty awesome experience. I normally set the alarm around 2 hours before I'm actually supposed to wake up per morning in order to attempt to catch a lucid dream.

Not sure if others experience this as well, but my dreams have the uncanny ability to presents themselves in a strong narrative manner. Typically when I dream it's like watching a movie from start to finish, with intro, character development, plot and so on, all in a rather cohesive package. I have had the weird dream

Already have. Granted, it's blurry, but it's a demonstration of what's to come with improved algorithms to clean and refine the image. Also remember that our brains often do not intricately visualize every item in a picture or dream simultaneously, but focus on specific elements and objects in the vision at a time. We

There's a group called the Gentleman's Club (website at thegentsclub.org) that does a pretty fine job on keeping things nice and clean, in addition to the added report and honor system that's been added lately. Just enter their chatroom and ask to join/setup a game and people will join. Those that are bad players get

Dark Souls made it possible to still kill nearly anything with even the lowest level characters and equipment within a reasonable amount of time as long as you had the endurance to keep it up, and the game is designed where physically dodging is a common and affordable tactic to stay alive.

Saved. Thanks!

What?! I was not aware of this! Name?!

Ha, my favorite one besides Everybody Wah Oh.
