in reality, I think most couples split pants duties. FluterDude is getting increasingly adept at grabbing me by the ears and talking me down from meltdown/freak outs, and I make sure we have the necessaries to adult in a(n outwardly) successful way.

I think that the way the LW describes her situation is problematic, but sometimes "wearing the pants" just means that you're the one that has to make every decision, and that's exhausting.
Yeah I'm pretty sure God can figure out who he's praying for.
It is Texas. She should have just said that her baby was fracking for milk.
Not the way I played Barbie.
Using late-term fetuses to make their point shows that they KNOW that, if they used 8 week-old embryos, no one would give a shit about abortion. Most abortions happen early, to an embryo the size of an olive. Sorry, most people have no special feelings about something the size of an olive.
I know whenever I get pregnant accidentally, I head to the Alamo to think things through.
Ok, Ms. Kitchens. Quick jezzie poll. How many of you have been roofied? I know I have! Glad to know that it just doesn't really happen, tho.
Klassic Kris.
I hear you. Mini just WOULD NOT LATCH. He'd clearly be hungry, I'd put him to the breast and he'd just look at me like, "Uhhh... no. I am aware of the bottle, that's easier. Get that."
For the benefit of all moms, future moms, and happily child-free friends of moms, I will share the words of my amazing pediatrician when it became clear that breastfeeding was not going to work for me and my son despite my increasingly frantic efforts:
I'm sorry but am I reading this correctly? A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL advised her that milk would come out OF HER ARMPITS??!! This issue has now jumped the shark and I think we can all go home because we're clearly done here.
Dear Ethicist,
Eh, skip it unless you have nosy relatives; then make up the most outrageous lies you can think of.
About the Couple: Mark and Kendra are two people who are getting married and they're NOT going to apologize for it! They can feel their friends inwardly rolling their eyes every time they talk about their wedding and guess what? It's going to be traditional, she's going to wear white, they're going to write their own…
YOU GUYS: Please don't flag comments just because they reflect an opinion that you don't like. It makes you look ridiculous. Thanks.
I will not address the awful comments. I'll move on to something else.
I've previously worked in PR and have witnessed first hand how upset top-level people can be about things that were not necessarily under their direct supervision. And not upset over the fact that something happened, but honestly upset about why it happened, that a citizen/consumer was honestly shafted or had a…
I mean, I think she's still allowed to be pissed off if she gets paid less than Jason Schwartzman or whatever (yes I have actually not seen any of her movies except Royal Tanenbaums.) Though the "working mother" phrase definitely implies that it's a matter of economic security for her which it clearly isn't, I'd be…
Look, I'm Team Goopster 'til I die but I don't really think the issue is that she described herself as a working mother. Like Kelly says, it's technically true. It's that she framed the issue as important to her as a working mother when, let's be fair, the issue is in no way personal to her. It's great that my girl…
