The IT Crowd is always the solution.

Y u no have smiling profile icon?

But your chin might be fat!

Witnessing a three way family argument in my husbands family right now, I feel the same way. Hope nobody asks me to referee...what's the arm signal for "you are all being dicks?"

My understanding of it as a cradle Catholic, Catholic school grad and all, was that animals didn't have free will to sin, souls to save, not that they didn't go to heaven. It was a more generous view that the adults raising me had...clouds and harps don't have free will, can't sin, etc. But are always in heaven.

I lovedloved this, I thought it was some kind of comment on 're incarnation or the ensoulment of fetuses. Like if you herb pregnant and you own a dog, the baby's soul makes a stop in your dog's body before it flies on over to your uterus.

And originally written before the movie. And written for a Mouse and a Wolf. The man was the Wolf.

It's a song about a Wolf, and a Mouse, according to the composer. He called the male part The Wolf in his score.

Depends on how one subjectively interprets Wolf and Mouse. Context is everything.

As an old movie buff I have to point out that the song wasn't written for the movie, but years before. The movie is not it's original context.

In 1944 the composer labeled the parts The Wolf and The Mouse. I think he was going for something predatory.

The original context in the score is tist the man is The Wolf and the woman is The Mouse. Sounds kind of predatory to me.

The song was written in 1944, not 1936. Frank Loesser, in the original score, called the male part The Wolf and the female voice The Mouse. Seems like he thought predator and prey was the dynamic.

the movie is not the actual context. The song was written and performed for four years before the movie, as a standalone song.

Member. I see what you did there.
