Your one friend doesn’t speak to the entire segment of truck owners. There are few people buying expensive new pickup trucks that chug fuel only because they “want” it. Also, “chug” fuel is relative term, when a new F150 4X4 combined is 20-24mpg depending on ecoboost vs V8. That’s pretty much what V6 sedans were doing

Your comment makes little sense as anyone seriously looking at buying a truck even if they only use it as a truck a handful of times a year, a bicycle or a Fit won’t do the job. You could have simply said buy a used truck instead but the used market is currently nuts, so buying new isn’t half as bad as it was 2 years

I don’t understand. Credit companies extend credit to those who prove they can pay it off. No one is pushing people to buy stuff they can’t afford. I have great scores and have loans, but I only buy or do loans on stuff I can pay off tomorrow if necessary. I’d just rather use their money and keep mine in savings or

Can you elaborate how?

The IPL got more power on paper, on the strip and roll races there was never any discernible difference in speed. I’m 90% sure they just redynoed it or perhaps adjusted the tune, but there was no result to be seen. Suspension and steering was the same as the other G37S’s(which to be fair was different from the G37

The TRD Avalon should win for sure, it literally defeats the purpose of the car and offers no performance. However my picks are for downright disappointments.

“Usually cars receive a midcycle refresh halfway through a generational lifespan, tweaking a fascia or headlight cluster or grille or something to at least look a little different than it used to, if not more modern. A nip here or tuck there that breaks familiarity. Infiniti has never done this with the Q50.”

I recently picked up a beater GX470 and had a cement project. Figured my shocks were near the end of their life anyways and hauled 1500 lbs of concrete(25 bags at 60lbs each) plus some extra junk and 2 passengers. This is what it looked like and yes I replaced shocks the following week. Just found it relevant lol

Honestly sounds like you got a steal of a car. I sold a 92 with 150k miles back in 2013 for $6k, repainted but up to date on maintenance with a new soft top, wheels etc and I’ve only seen prices go higher since the camber gang kids found them..

Nobody really “wants” a crossover, but at this point they are just as frugal while giving a better driving position with more practical options. Case in point, helping my sister shop 2 years ago.

I’ve convinced 3 people into a CX3 and CX5. There’s no reason to get the Mazda3 when the CX3/CX30 exists.

I respected but honestly never understood the 1LE as anyone serious about tracking will likely add the track gear they prefer themselves. Better to start with the best powertrain and mod the little things from there. Rare car.

People will say the Chevy SS (13k sold), or the Evo 9(8k sold), or the F10 M50(8k sold), but my personal opinion is the Lexus ISF.

I thought that for a long time. But lately have been itching to replace my ISF and cross shopping F80, C63, etc. Stumbled on a Tesla3 performance destroying them all(even the Alfa in the corners) and that’s before the current upgrades available now. It handles well enough, is a rocket with usable awd, and has enough

The RC is a GT pig even with the V8 and it’s seen especially so when an ISF with less HP beats it from a dig, roll, or on the track. The RCF doesn’t compete with the M4 as much as people want to believe, it’s more of a 645i competitor.

For 2020 they had the base, Sport, Sport Touring, 50th, and Nismo.

Base is estimated at “around $40k”, a far cry from the estimated at $35k rumors. They already said there will be the base Sport trim, Performance trim with LSD/BBK/larger wheels, stiffer suspension etc, plus Proto trim with the rarer yellow paint and other goodies. For the 370Z base was $30k, decently optioned was

Eh, it takes less mod effort on the Z/Supra to get it close to and past the NA options. As long as it handles well, and provides something different it can still be a great pony car fighter. But people expecting the best Z options and for it to start with a “Forty” rice are in for a major disappointment. That being

Very interesting as the Z is by far the most boring to me and that grill even updated should have never seen the light of day. I prefer swoop lines with interesting touches.

A great handling well packaged good looking car for $30k or a decently optioned uglier Z for $50k but with a manual. I’d still rather have the Supra and hope this will push Toyota to add a third pedal.
