Hey I bought one for the wifey and it’s a fantastic little car. Well appointed interior, nice little tech bits, and way too easy to get 45+ mpg. Sitting in a same gen Prius is like sitting in a cave with plastic.

The RC is a mess of a platform, that even with the V8 feels sloppy and with the cheaper motors offers very little in the way of performance or handling.
You could say the same thing about a Prius, whereas the CT200h passes as a just fine entry level Lexus.
LC500*. It’s a great handling but porky GT car. A luxury 86 with even more updated power would be very welcome.
Watched it last night. It was over the top and absolutely fictional(more so than any before) but it was great watch with some nice added backstory and a great ending. Much better than 8 and Hobbs/Shaw. I’ll probably watch it once more before Monday.
So you agree it’s doable. Besides, CL is the last resort for car searching in 2021. Model specific forums along with FB groups and FB marketplace are the go to. Plus, I’ve bought my last 5 cars out of state, why limit yourself to only your local area? Anything in Chicago is likely rusted anyways.

My old MacBook Pro 17" won’t die. 2011 or so model...I did have to replace the battery and charger twice, but that’s because I travel with it often.

I’ve done that. Like calm down guy, it’s just a 5 layer burrito from Taco Bell.
Exactly what it is. I wanted the creature comforts of the GX460, and really wanted an LX470. But I bought an 06 GX with 230k miles, always one owner dealer serviced for under $8k. I don’t mind scratching or abusing it.
I’m not the author. I bought my GX a few weeks ago and plan on taking it offloading though, first trip is this Sunday, then a few beach trips and fire roads. Not planning on rock crawling, just something more difficult than a Rav4 could handle.
It’s a third car, so I bought it with the intention of getting it dirty and scratched up. The thing is a tank with leather seats.
For what it’s worth, I upsized this past weekend from OEM 265/65/17 to 265/70/17 on TRD wheels and added the OEM 6500 lb tow hitch. The new spare in same bigger size fits fine, and while it’s only 31.6”, it looks beefy.
They are all automatic, with full time 4 hi and 4 low and a center locking differential. They come with skid plates and a V8. Just needs a bit meatier tire for more clearance/grip and they’re more capable than any CUV on the market.
For as much hate as I’ve seen about them online, they’re not bad at all. Yes, they’ll try to kill you if you don’t open and lock them in all the way. But the amount of curbs I’ve park next to in the past 10 year are zero. Open the door and you can easily step and reach the roof, no step ladder needed. Easy to reach…
Watching this past year’s overlanding hype had me pick up this 1 owner 06 with 230k always dealer serviced miles on it 2 weeks ago. Already got some TRD wheels and meatier rubber and full fluid change/radiator just in case. Ditched the boards and can’t wait to hit the trails this weekend! If anyone is around NOVA let…
