To be fair, the difference between a 7-8 year loan % and a 4-5% loan is 1% at most. The most I’ve done is 5 years, but even then I pay it off in 3. What’s to stop someone from getting a 7-8 year loan and doing the same? After all, decently optioned cars are like $10k+ higher than they were a decade ago..

It just goes to show how outdated the GX is. LX as well, as pointed out in the recent Doug Demuro review. But sit in a NX or RX and it’s vastly more updated.

Very true, I agree with you there.

I tried to tell him, but he saw Lexus and figured it was an upgrade in every way. Not knocking Lexus, I just went from an 08 ISF to a 12 since I love them, but just goes to show the Durango actually had a lot of nice features going for it. The blind spot and radar cruise and auto braking, UConnect, stereo, hell even

I can’t really agree with you here. The comparison of a decently spec’ed base model compared to a top of the line sport model can be tough to justify for any car be it a 328i/M3, Mustang ecoboost/Shelby, F150/Raptor, Charger RT/Hellcat wide body, RC200/RCF TE etc. Just depends on if you want the extra

I think the car looks great, all the top trims of the TLX do really. But this feels like a final sendoff before they stick a very much needed bigger power plant in there. I’d get it over a loaded Q50SS or G70, but at that price I’d also be willing to shave a few options to get a quicker motor.

It’s becoming a turbo world, and HP numbers mean less. Look at the Supra, Stinger, 340i, S3, RS3, etc.

Did I say that? I simply said I use the phone more than all those items combined. IE, I use the phone for emails, text, alarm, FaceTime, social media, photos, calling, navigation, music, etc more than my Nikon or computers combined. Even my work phone, I have all incoming calls directed right to my cell as I’m away

Is it really? 99% of the phones I see have a case on them, which easily hides any bump. Non-issue.

I use my phone more than my computer, MacBook, Nikon camera, or work phone combined. It’s not crazy to want a device that does everything fairly well and is still worth 50% of it’s cost 2 years later..

It was an interesting car, with a boring design. I always got it mixed up with the I35, which honestly was nicer anyways.

There’s dealers near me with 6 and 8 cal models offered for $30-35k. Not even base models..

For what it’s worth, Ram was running 15-20% off on them in June, we got some quotes for $53-55k OTD

Not sure how much research was done, but one thing to consider is that the 2019's recently had a big sale on them. My dad wanted a Limited 1500 model if only for the “Tesla” screen and we got quite a few quotes for $53-55k OTD taxes and all. $70k is crazy high MSRP.

Thank you! Though that’s not mine, but this one is! :)

Yes sir, I am following prices every day and almost snagged an RCF this week because I’m tried of waiting. :)

Why not an actual V8 Camry, the Lexus ISF?

Congratulations. I’d rather be in any year Maxima than any neon. Also, congratulations on posting a 1.5 year old article.

No one: ......

Exactly. A decent 997 is $30k+, closer to $40k. If you get past the headlights(no issue for me), the 996 for $15-25k is an absolute bargain, even if you have to dump $4-6k into it before bringing it home. Most any performance car nowadays has an achille heel/ or “super bulletproof reliable except for..”. C63 headbolts,
