Thank you, I completely agree. I didn't want to make this about me, but I have seen mothers (including myself) make themselves physically and emotionally ill from this insane push to breastfeed. Education is one thing, but pressure and guilt and fear-mongering is what crosses the line. I know the show won't go there…

As someone who was unable to breastfeed either of my babies, the whole lactivist thing hit me where it hurt. Oooof. The judgement and shame I was put through, I wouldn't wish on anybody.

Yes! I thought the same thing….I was actually nervous about that happening…. in fact, I was wondering if the BC tribe was partially planning for that. They can even use that as an explanation to Will after TC, that they were being extra cautious in case he switched, which is (in a way) understandable.
