I figured it was the "she didn't need 1 million dollars" argument (even though Lisa said her money situation isn't great, but she never got to say that to the jury). She had a great response, though.

Can either if you post a link?

Love this board too! I can't usually catch up until the morning, but I still love the lovely conversations, and look forward to it the next morning. I'm reading it now while my three year old takes 3 hours to eat breakfast… :P

I'm such a music nerd, I saw the numbers on the whiteboard and immediately identified them as jingle bells. That made me smile.

Ahhh, thanks for the correction! I'm so bad at remembering the beginning of the game.  He might blab it in a last ditch effort to win the million, but I'll bet if he's on the jury, he'll keep it quiet to help her.

@avclub-ef062084a1c4a3584af1d4f8e514ea50:disqus I don't think giving the idol to Denise would have changed anything with Skupin & Lisa. He told them that he would go to a Final 3 with them, not that he'd renig his promise to Denise for a Final 4.  Skupin & Lisa are so flaky, they'd buy that, and Denise would feel like

I think Penner is the only one that figured it out, right? And he didn't seem to want to spoil it for her. But even so, she can always point out that she doesn't have money anymore and she's really in the same boat as everyone else.

My husband chalked it up to buttering up the jury

I disagree, I think Denise is *more* dangerous than Malcolm in a final three. They should have ousted Denise now and tried their darndest to get Malcolm out (assuming he doesn't win immunity).

Yay! I tried to use that in a vain attempt to get my husband to watch Parenthood with me, but he saw 10 minutes of a random season 1 episode, scoffed, and now just makes fun of me :P

Exactly what I was going to say. The overall arc and "big bad" is a bit of a letdown, but there are some amazing episodes. I think season 4, like season 6, suffers a bit because the theme of the season (defining/finding yourself after high school) is more subtle than anything the show ever did.
