I happened to catch same-day rush tickets to see Anything Goes with both Sutton & Kelly Bishop.  I knew Sutton Foster was good, but I was floored by the energy and talent, especially that tap number (to be able to do all that dancing and still BELT that last note).

Agree. Both characters reach the end of their arcs barely recognizable from the way they started. And it's the sign of amazing writing that you don't even really notice as it's happening. 
Wesley is definitely one of my favorite characters in the Buffy verse, by a LOT.

I think there is a "cost" to file the appeal, so it wasn't bribe money or anything. The same thing happened in the Men's all-around (I think?) with the Japanese gymnast. The difference was that his coach knew what to do and whipped out the cash & the form right away. Aly's coach didn't seem to figure out what happened…
