I first read that as "Ghost of Christmas Bonus Yeti", which made me laugh :)

Exactly — I felt like I was supposed to take it seriously, and it just irritated the crap out of me.

That would be cool, but it would be hard to cover the absence of Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein said she won't be back) and Cameron (Pretty sure they never asked Jennifer Morrison back)

I'm a bit late (just caught up on this episode last night), but I saw the prison sentence as an excuse to jump 5-6 months in time for Wilson's death  I know the show likes to go for "shock" value, in its twists and turns, but I mean, even my HUSBAND (who falls for EVERYTHING when watching tv shows) predicted that the

I thought Wilson was going to take the blame right then and there in Wilson's office.

Ahhh, very interesting.  But even as a self-aware, fully-realized & openly gay man, I still would have a hard time believing the transformation of goofy/dorky "She's a vulcan-ologist" Andrew into this super-elegant, put-together, well-spoken Italian high-society man.  He'd always be a dork at heart.

Yeah, they do tend to forget about parents when they don't serve the plot. Same with Buffy's father in BtVS — especially after Joyce died and Dawn was still a minor.

It just reeked of gimmicks to me, none of the stuff you said rang true to me, especially based on the tone established from the episodes following Fred's death.

Yeah — as I mentioned below, this upgraded my opinion on the episode slightly, but I have a feeling the comic was more of a nod to the absurdity of the episode, not the other way around ;)

Yeah, that tidbit of knowledge actually upgraded my opinion of the episode from "hate" to "dislike". At least it was a joke to one of the characters on the show, and not just the viewer ;-)

Re: "The Girl in Question": I was not a fan, and I think you're right about episode placement —  because the series had gotten SO intense and [in a way] epic, and then this episode, clearly meant to be fluff & fun, just didn't sit right with me.  The whole "IT'S BUFFY!!!" thing read as a big gimmick to me, and
