I give the character a bit more credit — she's hot, yes, but I think he has genuine affection for her as a person now. :P

I have a feeling they also had a lot of extra enthusiastic/dedicated fans since it was the 100th epsiode.

Heh, I never really thought about it, but that's really true…  That was why it was kind of refreshing to have Leonard take charge and be like "I'm awesome, YOU should date me"

They have nice chemistry together, that's one of the things that was refreshing to me about last night's episode.

We were bored at a hotel for a friend's wedding. It didn't have to make sense… it just had to make us laugh :)

I believe that the show films with a live audience, maybe they were extra pumped about the 100th episode?

I thought Jasmine was humbled by seeing Crosby with someone who is successful, good with kids, and clearly not just a "fling".  I do think she has unresolved feelings, and for once, she's starting to see what Crosby isn't going to just stay single while she goes and tries to figure out what SHE wants.   I couldn't get

Her reaction was honest, and I think mature. She understood, but can't help but feel like she keeps getting put behind those who have more intense "needs" than she does.  I can understand being bummed out.   But I agree about how her parents could have presented the other options a bit better — she is still doing

THIS!  I said above, why not give her the responsibility? There's no such thing as a free lunch, especially in this situation, so why not leave it to HER to decide if she wanted the dream college (when perfectly high-quality educations are available for less) or if she wanted to be free of debt.

Have they established if he's married or not? I'm unclear on that… he looks like he's 22, so you never know…

That's exactly how I interpreted it…

My main issue with the Haddie/Cornell storyline is that Adam and Kristina should have let Haddie take responsibility for the choice. She can either:

Well, you could argue that Chilton was Rory's dream *high* school.  Also, not sure why you are yelling… unless caps in parenthesis equals whispering? ;-)

@avclub-f4ebedf916702e274e51c4200ecab15f:disqus I think the only thing I think I'd want to change about your comment is that you said "Being a racist, anti-Semitic, and ignorant Republican does make you a bad person".  The way you structured that sentence, it is like you are saying that the characteristic of

But again, it takes 2 to have a relationship, and 2 to have baby, and [hopefully] 2 to raise a child.  The way he made this

Oh — and P.S. I'm socially liberal, but fiscally conservative, so I kind of straddle the political lines. So when they create these cartoonist conservative characters and portray them all as crazy, mean, hurtful nut-jobs… the insinuation that anybody who is a bad person on the show MUST be a redneck conservative is

As someone who's struggled with depression issues since adolescence, II wasn't terribly offended by the "Fix You" song— I think it's a realistic response when someone you know or love is suffering, even if it seems insensitive.  I had PPD after my daughter was born pretty bad, and I know my husband would have done

The episode started soooooooo well. I liked "summer lovin'" for all its ridiculousness, I thought Emma's number was sweet, well done, and appropriate. The Helen Mirren voice over was BRILLIANT.

Unless you are on the far-east of Long Island, it's not THAT dark at night. There would have been plenty of ambient light from street lights, other people's homes, etc.  Maybe the basement would have been an adventure, but not the whole house.

They don't REALLY have to deal with it until they have the baby. Until then, there's no reason they can't still hang out at the bar like normal.  Once the baby comes, there will be a 3-5 episode sub-arc about Marshall and Lily feeling left out of the fun while stuck at home with the baby….
