I’m too lazy to do the actual research on number of records sold/profit to the labels off women vs men, but that line seemed like revisionist history when I read it too.

Rachel Neumeier’s excellent YA book The Floating Islands is getting a sequel this month. She’s self-publishing, so there isn’t an exact release date, but she’s in the final stages of formatting the ebook, so any day now.
If anything, they’ve aged him UP a bit - Padalecki’s only 38, and *his* kids are still in primary school.
It’s a very random note, but I’m still somewhat shocked that Walker has children that are in their late teens. Not in a negative sense, but rather that they are having Padalecki play his age instead of making Walker a younger character. Especially on a CW show.
That advice to men is typically applied when the question is “I work a forty hour a week job and my wife stays home to raise our two kids and do all the household chores and for some reason she won’t fuck me.” And that advice is solid.
Well, silver lining? If you’re in the position mostly commonly seen in unhappily married women, you might find the advice given to those unhappy women useful for your situation.
You seem fun at parties.
Ok first, your assessment of her ‘four jobs’ situation just doesn’t make any sense. Do you understand how time and fractions work? One part-time job is usually at least 10-20 hours a week, so add 1+1+1+1... *four* part-time jobs is 40 hours a week minimum- aka the equivalent of a full-time job.
You’re shocked that stressful circumstances make already-existing traumas come to the fore? What?
It’s an ironic statement, considering the poster clearly has gone without physical contact for a long, long time.
No man, however understanding and kind, is going to deal with no physical contact for too long.
Yeah. Dude needed help for years, clearly, but finally seemed to be acknowledging that in the last several months.
The way the news described the treatment when it was first announced he had cancer, this was ADVANCED when they found it. He essentially went straight into hospice care. Awful.
That’s scary. RIP, man.
I remember when the news broke a few weeks ago that he had ‘stage 4 cancer’, which didn’t reference an initial site and even then included language about ‘keeping him comfortable’, so I was afraid this was coming. RIP.
I...understand he had his issues, to put it gently. But even so, cancer is shitty and it ended a life that still had potential. Fuck cancer.
44 is too young. RIP.
jfc that was fast
If you feel the need to “curate an authentic life” you are trying too fucking hard.
