As an English person and lifelong Brit, take heart in knowing that if someone is that way out nothing you do will be right :-)

Where I grew up in England and when I worked in pubs as a student, people didn’t tip, they would “pay one on for you” (meaning a drink). So instead of cash, the bar staff who could stand the place would have a couple of pints/spirits and mixers at the end of their shift.

I never realised that this film had baby Patterson in :-) (Ashley Johnson is consistently one of the best things about Blindspot. Hope she gets a role on an action adventure show that’s a bit more like Person of Interest/one of the better ones in future).

They need a category for this sort of news called: Dear God, Let the Past Be.

I guess the problem is that gatekeepers to the music industry have been able to massively abuse their power.

None of the politicians want to be seen to be the ones suggesting that course of action because neither party wants to look like and I quote “they are ignoring the will of the people.”

It was a hubris thing. Cameron wanted to win the general election, shut up factions of the Tories and end the conversation on Europe for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately his ambitions considerably exceeded his political skill and now we have this mess.

Not harsh enough. Democracy has been more like a negligient parent lately.

I think it was a bit shifty that they didn’t ask the Brits living abroad in the EU. I think it was also a bit shifty that they didn’t ask 16 year olds and up since it’s their future. I also think it is a lot shifty that a lot of the loudest cheerleaders for Brexit are rich financial types who will a) be fine either…

The people that make me mad are the ones who totally missed the whole Snowden story and don’t believe there are several giant mass surveillance programs going on.
