I missed this show as well :-)

The funny thing is, I’ve known a lot of intense dieters and slimmers who still had a really unhealthy relationship with food and who also didn’t eat that healthily......

I don’t think people generally hate people who are overweight. I think I’ve seen some friends of mine who were overweight struggle in relationships and dating because of a lack of confidence and also if you hate yourself, you tend not to trust/be attracted to people who seem to like you as you are......

I would definitely say the loneliness needs addressing by trying to have a change of company/make some friends. The only way to do that really (leaving aside work) is to either volunteer or try some classes/new activities.

I’m really looking forward to this show so I’m glad the BBC seem to have some faith in the project.

In some circles at least social attitudes/progress have come on in leaps and bounds in the last 20 years. I love Community but I was rewatching that episode where Britta and Annie have the oil-fight and it seemed really sexist and gross to me in a way it didn’t when I first watched it.

Because I have two rooms in a total chaos state ;-) Most likely they are at the bottom of one of my baskets of clean clothes ;-)

I recommend Firestarter and 11.23.63.

I need to finish Infinite Jest but first I’ll have to find it (I’m hoping to move soon and my book collection is chaotic at the minute).
