I remember reading Kotaku when this was announced, cancelled, brought back as a mod and cancelled again I believe. I thought the original concept was the six days was “Five days waiting around and then getting shot the sixth day,” but that might have been something else I’ve read in the decade since then. Honestly

Looking at the project, it seems they are not selling the game so much as the physical items to play such. You can download the game for free and play it with your own materials, but the paid version is for the tokens and boards and such. I doubt they are even making a profit on this seeing the cost of the game versus

Gamasutra has a good list of Postmortem’s of some older games, like circa 2013 and earlier, with the developers discussing what went good or bad through out development. Polygon had a oral history of Morrowind article last year that I remember really digging. Lastly Game Developer Conference has several Postmortems

Racing the Beam” is another good book on how the Atari 2600 was full of quirks because it was only really programed with Combat and Pong in mind.

I liked that they are only slightly obsolete, the kind of thing teenage skater trash punks would have in their pockets, picking up off the sidewalk and looking in phone slots to pay their fare home. Same as now looking at discarded MetroCards that people just throw on the ground to see if there is enough fare for one

I actually haven't been paying attention to this game prior to the Ubi event, as I didn't like 1 and was still waiting to play 2. If they actually go that way, good on them.

That is exactly what I am saying. There was no political message to be found, despite the obvious hype train nonsense over the theme and pitch, giving thought that it might have something of worth to say. After all is said and done, they see it as a product and not some sort of message or high art piece, and that is

I could maybe forgive this, if the game was going to go seriously into the rise of totalitarianism though a Nazi analogue, and in the importance of standing united instead of letting the government divide the common people to crush and resistance.  But then I remember that Far Cry 5 is an "apolictial" game and how

Just going to say, with no context on what this game looks like in motion, this sounds like an insane person rambling and I love it. I’m definitely now going to look at this and try it.

I mean between Sonic Mania having been headed up by fan game creator Christian Whitehead, and their stance a few years back on fan games being ok and even allowing a steam workshop to be available for their genesis collection for rom hacks and such, it seems like they are embracing their community more and more,

While I support more filters and stopping hate speach, allegedly there is a list of written up slurs in many languages that developers can just drop into their bots, and it is a pretty bogus list, as it is the reason in things like Dragons Dogma you can’t name yourself Pacifica for some slur in the word in a language

So thinking about this still weeks later because it stuck with me, I guess. I suppose if they associated each genre with an element that could work or create a grid of something like free form to structure on one axis and like softness on the other axis and depending on where it falls on the grid is how it works

While I don’t usually like buying used, most everything on the Switch is included so long as you do the Pre-owned or Digital versions.

Not quite, to try and avoid spoilers too much, there are 5 endings that are important. There is part one as 2B, part on as 9S, Part 2 as 9S Part 2 as A2 and then the final ending which is ultimately a short 20 minute sequence.

The only issue I could see with this is how are you to remember what type is effective vs other types. Everyone has mnemonic on what types do to what ranging from simple (Fire burns Grass, Water puts out Fire, Water only makes Grass grow.) to complex (Fighting is 1/2 effective against flying because “Have you every

After reading this comment, I can’t not hear it in my head.  To be honest though, it is making me enjoy some of the more tired jokes again, so thanks!

Thank you for getting the reference, they are indeed streets behind.

You know what? Fair. I don’t fault it so much because it was a good first draft, and going into unknown territory. The job system while faulty as you said, is streets ahead of what came before it. And if you didn’t get attached to the characters you created, I don’t know what to tell you. I felt attached to the

I appreciate the joke, made me laugh out loud even though I am alone.

What is sort of cool is there is some different variants of each mission, for instance the first time I played End Products it was just as you said, in a big parking lot with no cover. The second time though was in a better spot with several cover points. Though I have to agree that mission does suck and I could never
