Real owners talk about them being a joy to live with. Lets get someone to show the web is wrong. Bet these are more reliable then the RR....

Hagerty, or the like, did a series on a guy that daylied an A for a whole year.

What ever you do, please use it for more then 2500 miles. That is a really lame amount of miles..

While the content might be well written and fairly funny.....the substance is REALLY lacking here.

My Chopper. Built from a new bike (not by me) Rides like it is falling down a flight of stairs, turning radius of a moon and literally uses a moped front drum. It is loud, light, fast and a whole heap of fun. I am honest that it sucks as an actual motorcycle. But on the other end of the spectrum I deal with vintage

Meh, this is the internet. It is not real life. It is supposed to be fun!

To distill the fun debate we are having here so that we can go back to be friends of the web.

Don’t really understand what you are asking.

Was that done on your bike with the extended arm?

I just value real performance, rather then just playing a game of dress up.

Easy killer.

At this point you are the guy talking about how much down force your JC Whitney wing is giving you when you take off ramps real fast. It is okay. Maybe one day you will take the time to understand what you claim to know instead of just regurgitating some blog post you read. I do like that you are tossing around

You fail to see what I am saying. Never said that people cant or shouldn’t modify a “classic”. Personally these are not all that great stock and need some modifications to really enjoy. My point was that IF you are going to modify it, make sure they are good ones. Not bad ones like the bike in question.

Ah, you have finally devolved into name calling. This is fun.

Yeah in this case nothing really is a "deal breaker" but are things to think about.

Yeah the right owner could surly save this. But if the next buyer is clueless too then it will only get worse.

Agreed about the “porting”

Maybe the label as a “bad motorcycle” is to extreme.

I view it as a “retail” price. Maybe a bit high, but it is only a starting point. Not everything can be a $500 “score”.

Yeah, low bars make you lean over more. Cool story. You actually think that is a performance upgrade?
