Not an expert by ANY means, but...from what I have heard speeds like that (200+ MPH) wind resistance etc becomes a HUGE issue, and gaining just 1 extra MPH requires not only TONS more HP, but better aero etc. Sure, it’s “just” 50 mph or so, but in reality it’s much more complex and very very difficult.
