I think they should pull any project containing Star Wars-related story lines where Dave Filoni is not directly involved. I don’t have confidence any one else can handle the job at this point.

LOL “nerd debate”.  Aw, that’s sweet. I’m good. But continue on with whatever point you think you’re making. You’re doing great!

9 movies and countless comics and cartoons about magical space monks that kidnap children to raise them in their weird loveless cult, walking dogs fly space ships, and the speed of light is regularly exceeded and THIS is the thing you get hung up on?

Counterpoint:  You are wrong

A universe with magical fighting space monks, bear dogs driving ships, and space nazis who create giant planet killing devices is plausible, but Palpatine creating Baby Yoda in a cloning facility is silly? THAT’S your line where you find things silly?

Filoni did a little twist on this trope in “The Clone Wars” episode called “Bounty Hunters” where the Jedi helped train a bunch of villagers to fend off pirates. Filoni even dedicated the episode to Kurosawa.

Davis was 11 when he played Wicket in RotJ, so probably not.

You do know this isn’t a real technical specification, right?

Someone tell Joe Biden that holding the door open for a black dude at the Wawa in Claymont doesn’t mean he changed race relations.

NBA fans’ love of #PettySZN and the NBA’s new cottage industry of encouraging social media behavior high school kids would be ashamed of trumps all reason.

Actually, you should read Isaacson’s book on Jobs and you’d understand that he not only wasn’t everything Apple aficionados want him to be, as a person, but he wasn’t particular technical, with respect to computing.

Yes, of course.  Parenting is the best thing I do and the most grassroots way to make a better future, which, to my thinking, is to raise better human beings.

I am old enough to have seen this movie in the theater and I can’t tell you how underwhelming this movie was to 9 YO me, fresh off of Star Wars and all that movie entailed.

I’m very much on board with Ashley Eckstein playing a live action Ahsoka, but if they choose to go in a different direction, may I suggest Rosario Dawson?

Agreed. I’ll buy that Disney finds a way to redeem Kylo (because he’s a Skywalker and the saga is about the Skywalkers), but I don’t see any way that Disney allow the Rey character to turn to the dark side. That Rey is either some sort of Force vision or a clone (which would sync up with what we saw in that vision Rey

I think you’ve got it or some variation on what the story will likely be. No way do they go to the trouble of bringing Palpatine back and not have Kylo and Rey work together to beat him.

If this is what you got out of that, you’re being obtuse.

If you were familiar with the state of Delaware (where Biden is from), this wouldn’t surprise you at all.

This season of Real World was probably the last time I watched a Reality TV show and actually cared about the people in it and it’s probably the last season of any Reality TV show that I saw through to the end.

I feel bad for people who don’t listen to PMT, because it’s the best sports podcast out there for a good reason.  If folks don’t listen because they don’t like Barstool or Dave Portnoy, they are missing out.
