If FCA sells off only Jeep, the Jeep Curse will be fulfilled and it will cease to exist in 1-2 years.

I couldn’t care less. When I buy new (which is every 2-3 years) I look at parts content and where the vehicle is assembled- regardless of manufacturer. Typically, I buy cars built in Ohio or Indiana.

That’s my understanding also. I know on Hondas (I am a Honda technician) this is how they operate.

Yes I was aware of that. I’d imagine it would still be a little harder to boost a car though since the key would still be needed to unlock the ignition.

What about cars with just a conventional keyless entry and a key? Would it basically be they could “break” into the car with this but not be able to start it and/or drive off?
